The Journal of the American Academy of Special Education Professionals (JAASEP) is a peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing research, policy, and practice for special education professionals. Founded in 2006 JAASEP publishes work relevant to special educators in diverse roles, across educational settings, and with unique professional needs.

JAASEP welcomes empirical research, conceptual papers, policy analyses, and innovative practice-focused submissions that address the complex and evolving landscape of special educators.
